Hi, I am Lieve van Cranenbroek, born and raised in Bulander. Physiotherapy was introduced to me at an early age, because I opened exactly the same practice doors as my father did in 1989.

I graduated as a physiotherapist in 2014 and further specialized as an edema therapist in 2017. I have been working intensively with children since 2020, after which I started the three-year master's degree in pediatric physiotherapy, which I successfully completed in 2023.

I never stop learning! I am currently following a training in manual techniques at the International Academy of Osteopathy in Antwerp (IAO). With this training I learn to look at complaints from a different angle, which gives me a broader approach to treating musculoskeletal complaints (complaints in muscles, joints or bones) in children.

My approach revolves around the overall picture of the child. I don't just look at the physical complaint, but at the whole. Together with parents and other stakeholders, I look for the best care. Collaboration is essential to me, because it promotes the well-being of the child.

I work goal-oriented and am determined to achieve the best result for the child. My treatment only ends when both the child and the parent feel helped and can move forward with confidence.

My focus for the future? In addition to completing my training in manual techniques, I want to delve deeper into sensory integration processing (SI), reflex integration and attachment problems in children. I would also like to teach parents how they can help their baby relax with baby massage.
