Edema complaints in children

Children can develop edema-related symptoms for a variety of reasons. Examples include congenital defects, injuries, infections or edema resulting from surgery. Complaints may then manifest as pain, swelling or reduced range of motion due to fluid accumulation. When complaints are present for a long time, a defect in the lymphatic system may develop. Within our practice we have extensive experience and expertise in edema therapy Vodder. For this we have also followed a specific training and obtained a diploma. This knowledge and experience can also be successfully applied to children with such complaints. In this treatment techniques are applied such as lymphatic drainage, compression therapy and lymph taping to reduce swelling and reduce pain and restriction of movement. If necessary, cooperation with specialists will be provided. It may be important to identify symptoms early to prevent complications or secondary symptoms due to edema.
